Dark

Here, dark means obscure, abstract or weird. It's the most vague category. Nightmares, heavy electronica, melancholy, the negative phases of an adventure, or just too conceptual. Soundtrack composing allows swimming deep down in the dark without being dark in its entity: as a whole it often leads through both sides as a cathartic instrument, light at the end. Light, mercy, knowledge or faith are often preceded by darkness, unbelief, pain, doubts, melancholy, nervous suspense; so it's a question of finding the right sequence. Of course, this also applies to DJing, film editing or any time-related activity, A great part of these tracks could be also tagged lullabies or red.
